Lee Squires Soccer ID Camp – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer
A Unique Opportunity for Aspiring College Soccer Players
Take your college recruiting experience beyond the camp field! Camp participants are invited to attend Georgia Southern Men's Soccer vs. James Madison (JMU) on Saturday, October 17 at 7:00 PM at Bo Pitts Field.
While attendance at the match is not required, it is a valuable opportunity to experience a Division I college soccer environment firsthand. Many players dream of playing at the collegiate level but have never attended a college soccer match. Watching our team compete allows you to see the speed of play, game atmosphere, and culture of our program before stepping onto the field for camp the following day.
About the Camp
The Lee Squires Soccer ID Camp at Georgia Southern is designed to provide aspiring collegiate players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the Georgia Southern coaching staff and coaches from other nearby college programs.
Throughout the day, players will:
- Train with the Georgia Southern coaching staff.
- Learn about the history, traditions, culture, and expectations of Georgia Southern Men's Soccer.
- Receive a guided campus tour (optional).
- Gain insight into the academic, athletic, social, and financial aspects of being a Division I student-athlete.
- Compete in both full-sided and small-sided matches to showcase their abilities in game situations.
Our camp has been a successful pathway to collegiate soccer, with six current Georgia Southern players having attended one of our ID camps. We look forward to identifying future Eagles while also helping players connect with other collegiate programs in attendance.

- FREE Georgia Southern Soccer Dry Technology Training Shirt
- Training led exclusively by the Georgia Southern coaching staff
- Limited enrollment to maximize coaching interaction
- Additional college coaches invited to observe

NCAA Compliance
According to NCAA guidelines, all camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
Spots are limited. Our previous ID camp sold out.
Tentative Camp Schedule

12:15 PM – Lunch Break
1:15 PM – Optional Campus Tour (Hanner Fieldhouse)
2:30 PM – Players Report Back to Field
2:45 PM – Small-Sided Games
5:00 PM – Closing Comments
Schedule is subject to change due to weather or operational needs. In the event of inclement weather, activities may be moved to the Tippins Family Indoor Facility (covered turf field).
